BIO

I practice useful and sensation-al graphic design and illustration.

By working with layout, color, imagery and type, I strive to develop conceptual designs that are meaningful, expressive, and economic.

I started designing in my teens, making t-shirts for bands. A few years later, I began freelancing for real estate, investment and banking clients. The creativity of the music industry mixed with the pragmatism of corporate design still informs my aesthetic today.

Over the past 15 years, I have designed and developed brand identities, web sites, illustrations, and print and digital marketing materials for non-profits and businesses in industries that include tech, education, events, entertainment, real estate, banking, investment, and construction.

I’ve produced designs and illustrations for several entertainment industry events, including the Brandon Tartikoff Legacy and International Iris Award ceremonies at NATPE Miami.

I have published over 30 illustrations in AAA’s Westways Magazine. I have illustrated and designed 4 children’s books. In 2021 and 2023, I illustrated the cover of University of Washington Information School Magazine, iNews, and continue to contribute illustrations to the annual magazine.

I work in a variety of media and formats to achieve the desired result for a given project.
